PRESENT CONTINOUS

PRESENT CONTINOUS is used for an action which is

happening at the moment of speaking.

Time Signals : now, at present, right now.

VERB + ING is used to make present continous.

For example : positive

S + am / is / are + V1 ing

1. She is studying English now.

2. Tono is reading a book here now.

3. I am repairing my bike right now.

4. They are watching football at present.

For example : negative

S + am / is / are + not + V1 ing

1. She is not studying history now.

2. Tini is not reading a book here now.

3. I am not repairing my radio right now.

4. They are not watching TV at present.

For example : interrogative

Am / is / are + S + V1 ing ( ? )

1. Is she studying history now?

2. Is Tini reading a book here now?

3. Am I repairing my radio right now?

4. Are they watching TV at present?
